My priorities:

Accessibility

Be visible in every neighbourhood, not just during election time.
Hold town halls and community meetings.
Respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner.
Work with community groups, schools, businesses, and seniors' residences on city related matters.

Public safety

Support the implementation of full shields on transit buses to protect our workers.
Work with local community organizations to tackle homelessness and remove encampments.
Work with Winnipeg Police Services (WPS) to identify, strategize and implement evidence based methods on crime reduction and community involvement.
Encourage stronger collaboration between police and community outreach organizations, including access to training and experienced police officers where appropriate.

Infrastructure

Advocate for timely maintenance and repairs to roads and walking paths.
Consult with affected communities when new infrastructure projects are being proposed.
Advocate for the renewal of aging sewer infrastructure to help reduce the risk of basement flooding.

Environment

Support and implement OurWinnipeg2045 long term vision plan.
Protect and strengthen investment in Winnipeg’s tree canopy.
Work with organizations on protecting and investing in our water ways that run through St. Boniface.
